This little tin has "cottage" written all over it!! Not really but it certainly fits your cottage decor. The tin may have originally come with layers of fruit-flavored and shaped sugar candies then repurposed as a lunch tin, sewing box or a storage box full of curiosities. It is stamped on the bottom with the word "Tindeco".  It is an oval-shaped container with two handles and a lid.  The handles are securely fastened by rivets. Some wear around the edges of the lid and is missing some of the the gold accent paint.  Very minor rust, paint loss and scratches . . .normal vintage patina.
