VINTAGE PILLOW TOPS: Our pillow covers feature great vintage graphics in the rustic country farmhouse style. Vintage feed, seed and grain bags typically have blemishes that come with age and sometimes have "whiskers" - thread barren and patched areas. Some of the pillow covers that we produce have portions of other vintage bags to help complete the top. These wonderful textiles are getting harder to find. Vintage pillow tops only get better with age and are gently cleaned before construction.
 
NOW LET'S TALK CONSTRUCTION: Lighter weight vintage feed, seed and grain bags are generally woven from cotton fibers that are 50 to 100 years old. They need support. Our vintage sacks are first sewn onto 10 oz archival-safe linen canvas to promote the stability of the fabric. Pillow backs are then assembled with the same linen fabric giving an additional layer of strength. All seams are double-stitched. You are purchasing a quality product constructed to give you a lifetime of use.
