This handbag features the fabric from an authentic 1950s-era alfalfa seed bag. On the reverse side is the remnant of a 1940s feed bag. The "Dawson alfalfa seed" has faded due to age and use. Additionally, the sturdy bottom was made from sections of two different WW II-era soldier's duffle bags. The original stenciling is still imprinted on the section of the duffle bag.
American Harvest Bag Co designs the interior linings of their bags to "fit" into the exterior of the bags. You won't fight with excessive fabric to find objects in the bottom. The lining is made of sturdy light-colored linen canvas so you can actually see what you are trying to find as opposed to getting lost in a "dark" abyss. We've all been there. Additionally, there are two large slip pockets. Either one will easily fit a large cell phone.
